The journey covers 27 days with stops in both major cities and small towns across the United States.
Projected start date is August 27, 2004, with the ride concluding on September 22, 2004. See the
Route and Schedule section for further details.
In order for the cross country ride to be a success Bike4BreastCancer is asking for the assistance
and generosity of the people, community businesses and media along the route. The goal is to have
an individual or team of individuals to aide in the logistics and support Kathy for each leg of her
journey. Each segment will consist of a single day of cycling averaging 110 miles.
Some of the responsibilities would include:
- Promote arrival through pre and post media alerts
- Assist with coordination and logistics of a ride segment
- Supply support for day of segment
